David Snider is Sr. Director of Service Optimization, Foundation Engineering for Optum Technology, a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group, a leading health care company, serving more than 75 million people worldwide. UnitedHealth Group’s family of companies touch nearly every aspect of health care, helping people live healthier lives.

As Sr. Director of Foundation Engineering, David is responsible for the architecture of all distributed systems, storage and network technologies. His primary focus for the last few years has been enabling UnitedHealth Group’s Cloud capabilities, with a focus on Optum Technology the base technologies as well as Infrastructure as a Service, hybrid cloud and containers.
